On Saturday 17th November we held our coffee morning in the Chapel. Thanks to all those who attended and were so generous purchasing lots of lovely homemade cakes, biscuits and buns! And the conversations that were had were great - you learn something every time you come to Osmotherley - I know I have.
Great news! The new website is in the process of being built and will be launched in mid March to coincide with the launch of the Wesley Heritage Trail in the North East of England. Lots of information, ideas and help for anyone who would like to visit, use our facilities as a base for a day retreat, for walking, for artists doing a spot of painting in and around the village, for photographers wanting to take advantage of the highly photogenic countryside and locality or for tourists just wanting a base for a small group for a day.
You are very welcome to browse and if you have any questions then just drop us a comment or contact us via the form and we will get back to you as soon as possible.
We are here to try and help you learn, experience and understand the history and the beautiful setting of Osmotherley. A haven for walkers, artists, photographers and tourists.... and a focus of faith.
Welcome! This is where you will be able to read up to date information about what is happening in the Chapel and the Village of Osmotherley!
Welcome to Osmotherley Methodist Chapel's very own website - if a Chapel can have a website that is....
I hope to be able to bring you interesting and updated information about this wonderful Methodist Heritage Site in the heart of North Yorkshire literally on the Cleveland Way. We get many passing walkers dropping in for refreshments and excellent home-made cakes and scones - especially in the late Spring and early Summer when we open each Saturday between 10 - 12 noon.
